Patch Tutorial

Supplies needed: 1 piece of felt, canvas or fabric. Tear away stabilizer or cut away stabilizer for dense designs

Hoop stabilizer and stitch out placement stitch for patch

Place felt, canvas or fabric over placement stitches and stitch tack down stitch. Then stitch all design steps except final satin

Remove hoop from machine, but do not remove project from hoop. Trim excess felt, canvas or fabric close to tack down stitches, being careful not to cut stitches

Place hoop back in machine and stitch final satin stitch

Remove hoop from machine. Remove project from hoop. Gently tear away stabilizer (or cut if using cut away) being careful not to damage stitches
